Between streaming of minor league games and seeing games firsthand at BayCare Ballpark and Carpenter complex, Steve has seen every Phillies minor league player who played in the states in 2021. He’s a former corporate executive who retired in Clearwater, FL, but he’s hardly retired.

2021 Paul Owens Award winner as minor league player of the year. Hit .299 at Jersey Shore, Reading and Lehigh Valley in 112 games ( 418 AB’s ) with 26 doubles, 2 triples and 16 home runs driving in 49 runs … walked 65 times. Led the minor league organization in seven offensive categories. Steady defender primarily at shortstop but also saw action at both third and second base. Excelled in the Arizona Fall League. Led in RBI (31) and walks (24), while posting a .318/.445/.489 slash line with a .934 OPS. Reached base in all 26 games. SS on the AFL All-Star team. Became second Phillies player to hit a home run in A, AA, AAA, AFL and big league spring training game.
2022 Projection
Might just break spring camp with the big club, if not will be the starting shortstop for Lehigh Valley.
