Richie Ashburn (1948–59)
Whitey was an All-Star centerfielder who played left field in the first major league game he ever saw, opening day, April 20, 1948, against the Boston Braves at Shibe Park. He was 21-years of age.

Del Ennis (1946–56)
Product of Olney High School, Del is the greatest Philadelphia native ever to wear a Phillies uniform. Ennis, 20, made is first start on April 30, 1946, at Forbes Field in Pittsburgh, playing left field, a position he played the most often. Was the right fielder on 1950 Whiz Kids.

Sherry Magee (1904–14)
Native of Clarendon, PA, the 19-year-old Magee made his debut on June 29, 1904, against Brooklyn at Baker Bowl. Led the Phillies is most games played as an outfielder until Ennis came along. Played majority of his games as a left fielder.

Johnny Callison (1960–68)
Acquired from the White Sox for 3B Gene Freese following the 1959 season. As a 19-year-old Callison played in 49 games with the White Sox that season. Almost all of his Phillies games came as a right fielder.

Bobby Abreu (1998–2006)
Acquired by the Phillies for SS Kevin Stocker after Bobby had been selected by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in the 1997 expansion draft. Like Callison, Bobby was primarily a right fielder.

Acquired by the Phillies from the Cubs for OF Dode Paskert, December 26, 1917. One of the Phillies best trades as Paskert played only four seasons in Chicago while Williams became a power-hitting centerfielder who led the NL in homers three times.

Hall of Famer out of Indianapolis, IN, who dominated the NL in power production early in his Phillies career. Phillies first MVP and All-Star. Primarily a right fielder.

Acquired from the Giants for OF-1B Willie Montanez, May 4, 1975. Became the Secretary of Defense in center field, winning eight Gold Gloves.

Norristown, PA, native and University of Pennsylvania graduate who patrolled center field. Contact-type hitter with 946 career walks and 484 strikeouts. After career, coached baseball at Penn and later Haverford College.

Greg Luzinski (1970–80)
First round selection as a catcher out of Notre Dame High School, Niles, IL, in 1968 draft, moved to first base that summer in pro debut, stayed at that position until opening day, 1972, in Wrigley Field when he started in left field. Played that position rest of Phillies career.
