Scott Kingery, Simon Muzziotti, Johan Rojas, Erick Brito, Griff McGarry, Mick Abel, Matt Osterberg among Week 10 Phillies minor league standouts.

An overall record of 21–17 for the seven teams this week. The Threshers (4–2) clinched the first half Florida State League western division title on Saturday becoming the first minor league team to qualify for post season play. The three complex teams (12–3) had very strong opening weeks, Phillies White scored eighteen runs in their game on Saturday!

Emaarion Boyd of Clearwater stole six bases in Tuesday’s game, he leads the organization and the Florida State League in the category with thirty three. Lehigh Valley’s Scott Kingery (.462) and Simon Muzziotti (.471) had strong offensive weeks as did Reading’s Johan Rojas (.423) and Clearwater’s Erick Brito (.467) . Darick Hall (.389 OBP) continued rehab action for Lehigh Valley with a bang posting a double, triple and home run totaling seven RBIs. Carlos De La Cruz (Reading) extended his on-base streak to 27 games and posted a .370 batting average during the week. Dakota Kotowski hit two home runs on the expansive back fields in opening week Florida Complex League play.

There were outstanding pitching efforts by Reading’s Tyler McKay (retired seven of the eight batters he faced on Friday, five by strikeout), Griff McGarry (five no hit, no run innings for Reading), Matt Osterberg (six scoreless frames for Jersey Shore), Mick Abel (five innings, one run, one hit for Reading) and Clearwater’s Jonh Henriquez (two appearances, five and two thirds IP, no runs, one hit, three walks, five strikeouts) highlighting the hurler’s week.

AAA Level : Lehigh Valley : 3–2 for the week against Syracuse, 32–29 overall — 6/13/23 hosting Toledo
