Bryce Harper put up some huge numbers this season that put him in exclusive company.

The Phillies right fielder, a prime candidate for the MVP in the National League, scored 101 runs, walked 100 times, lead the league with 42 doubles and blasted 35 home runs.

So, how many other players in baseball history had 100 runs, 100 walks, 40 doubles and 35 home runs in a season?

Three.

**Babe Ruth did it twice, 1921 (177–145–44–59) and 1923 (151–170–45–41).

**Stan Musial, 1949 (128–107–41–36).

**Barry Bonds, 1998 (120–130–44–37).

The NL MVP award which is voted by the BBWAA (Baseball Writers Association of America), will be announced later this month. He won the award in 2015 while with the Washington Nationals.

Bryce already won two awards last month, the Players Choice Award for the Outstanding Player in the National League as voted by his peers and the Stan Musial Award which honors the year’s “greatest moments of sportsmanship and the biggest names in sports who embody class and character.”
